Today the long awaited Google street view was launched in the UK and it seems that it is already causing quite a stir. Concerns over privacy have long been in the media however i think the new service is excellent and some of the compromising pictures that are turning up will keep me entertained for hours. For example the man caught coming out a sex shop below.

It will certainly be interesting to see how they develop the service and to whether they will integrate it anyway with Latitude. Google’s move toward mobile these days couldn’t be any more apparent.

Companies are already finding interesting ways to use the new service. Find A Property.com is my personal favourite.

Ok so i have been a bit slack on the old updates recently and as you can see the last time i posted was when the first episode of the Factory came out. Well its been that long that now the next episode has been released.

The new episode shows David pay a visit to Astute technologies to learn more about ERP systems. This one i feel is a big improvement on the last video and its short and humorous style should help it attract the right audiences. With that in mind its also worth mentioning that the last video did very well in terms of achieving sign ups, gaining some search engine exposure and building links. I thought it was pretty impressive considering the dry subject matter

I hope you enjoy it and please feel free to leave comments on YouTube. You can also sign up for updates from the official ‘The Factory‘ mini site.
