New Adwords Interface
Analytics has had several major updates over the past year or so and so its about time that we see a new Google Adwords interface. The boffins at Google have obviously been working hard as they have created a brand new easy to use interface which is available to users in beta format.
The new interface is said to be not only quicker but also much easier to use. The level of detail provided is much greater and overall control is much more customisable. Despite these changes the interface works in a very similar way to the old format and therefore should not cause any problems for existing users.
Google outlines the following benefits of the new system.
- Easier editing capabilities. There is no waiting for pages to load and changes can be made in just a few clicks.
- No changes to the way ads run. Existing users won’t get bogged down learning the basics again.
- Broader insights into your campaigns. The views have been customised to include more relevent information.
- Chart trends. Users can now compare various different metrics in chart form.
I am looking forward to playing with the new system in more depth in the coming months. I think its going to add a new dimension to online advertising management.
