It’s been a bit of a crazy week so I apologies for the lack of updates but anyway I wanted to share with you guys some of the things that I have been reading and tell you how Twitter has helped me expand my knowledge.
When talking about Twitter many people bang on about it being a great networking tool and until recently I took that concept for granted. Only now when I look back on it I can see how many great new blogs I have discovered and met new and interesting people. The ability to discuss concepts and ideas enthrawls me and being able to see the range of styles out there has helped me to develop and question my techniques. I think this is a fundamental in life and Twitter helps integrate both our on and offline lives. I also just like some of the random crap that people post. Twitter spam!!
Anyway these are a couple of the sites I have been reading recently.
- Ben McKay – Ben is a great guy and I love reading his blog as he posts really in depth articles. For me they give a real insight into some of the core concepts in SEO and he puts an interesting angle on most of his work.
- Seoptimise – I have only been following this one for a short while but these guys pick up on new stories really quickly. I also like the way that their stories are short, precise and catchy. They get right to the point which I feel is very important in our subject area.
-
Copyblogger – I am currently trying to improve my copy writing skills and I think this site is the best one around for ideas and tips.
- Seth Godin – Probably one of the best marketers around and his blog makes for a really interesting read. I find his work to be thought provoking.
I would love to hear what you guys have been reading recently.
